Emancipet is expanding access to affordable veterinary care in Central Texas with the relaunch of its Regional Low-Cost Mobile Spay/Neuter Program. Starting July 30, 2025 mobile clinics will operate in communities outside of Travis County on Wednesdays and Thursdays, offering low-cost, appointment- based spay/ neuter surgeries for pet families in areas surrounding Travis County, including locations Burnet, Guadalupe, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop and Caldwell Counties.
This program brings much-needed veterinary services to pet families who often face barriers to care due to distance, availability, or cost.
Locations on the schedule for Emancipet’s Regional Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Mobile Clinic include Marble Falls, Seguin, Georgetown, Kyle, Eglin, San Marcos, and Lockhart, Texas.
At the same time, Emancipet will adjust the operating schedule of its Austin Mobile Free Day program as it is nearing its full contract budget with the City of Austin, and requires program changes to extend these free services through the remainder of the fiscal year 2025. Beginning August 1, Free Day clinics will shift to Fridays and Saturdays only.
