July 9

City Council Meeting, 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 41 Champions Circle, Woodcreek. Residents are encouraged to attend. A preview of the agenda and meeting packet is available at the newly revamped City of Woodcreek website, woodcreektx.gov.

Oak Wilt season is over; Ok to trim Oak trees

The City of Woodcreek has given notice that Oak Wilt season has now officially ended and residents may resume trimming oak trees. They also issued the reminder that a tree permit is required before any trimming or removal begins and that permit forms are available on their website at woodcreektx.gov, under Government/ Permitting.

Residents are responsible for removing their own branches after trimming and the city will notify residents when a brush pick-up is scheduled.

Restroom project begins soon

The Creekside Park restroom project will begin soon. Once underway, parts of the park will be closed to ensure safety and to allow crews to work efficiently. Be especially cautious around the back corner near the swings, as this area will be fenced off during construction. Keep children away from this zone.

The entire park may be closed temporarily, at times. A notice will be posted on the gate.
