Thursday, July 3 - The 79th Annual VFW CPRA Rodeo
The Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association saddles up for three days of classic rodeo, each night at 7 p.m.
Friday, July 4 - Independence Day Parade, Hometown Concert and CPRA Rodeo
The July 4 retro-themed parade begins at 10 a.m. and wends its way through downtown Wimberley. Roads close along the route at 9:30 a.m.
A rousing Hometown Patriotic Concert pays a rousing tribute to the red, white and blue at 3 p.m. by the Wimberley Community Chorus and the Hill Country Community Band.
The Rodeo saddles up for another night of western skill and daring at 7 p.m.
Saturday, July 5 - CPRA Rodeo and After-Rodeo Dance
The Rodeo returns again at 7 p.m.
Once the rodeo action ends, the After- Rodeo Dance begins with music by Whiskey Two-Step.
