The Wimberley Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced the names of Grand Marshals chosen for the 2025 July 4 parade. Eight veterans of the U.S. military, representing decades of service, will share the honor: Colonel Gary Gilson, Air Force and Marines, Vietnam; Master Sergeant Mike Lukowiak, Air Force, Vietnam and Korea; Master Helmsman Petty Officer 3rd Class Anthony Dimillo, Navy, Gulf War; Specialist Clayton Alexander, Army, Gulf War; Staff Sergeant Ace Caballero, Army, Operation Iraqi Freedom; Sergeant David Guzman, Army, Operation Iraqi Freedom; Command Sergeant Major Jesse Kennis, Army, Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom; and Major Laurel Kennis, Army and Texas Army National Guard, Operation Inherent Resolve (Iraq and Syria).
The Chamber was aided by members of the Oldham-Cummings VFW Post 6441 in the selection of the parade’s Grand Marshals.
