Wimberley joined more than 150 cities in the U.S. and 2,000 cities worldwide to celebrate Make Music Day last Saturday. Twenty-one different musical acts from eight venues across town connected to observe the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, the Summer Solstice. From the expanse of the creekside lawn at Martha Knies Park, to the Opera House at Pioneer Town and elsewhere, waves of music could be heard throughout Wimberley during the day-long event.
