At the May 1 Wimberley High School scholarship awards ceremony, Wimberley Valley Arts and Cultural Alliance, also known as Wimberleyarts. org, awarded Robert Moreman Memorial Scholarships to eight exceptional Wimberley grads. Each student received $7500 to pursue their passions in the arts and building trades at universities and trade schools.

The scholarships were made possible through the Wimberley Valley Arts and Cultur- al Alliance board and scholarship committee, generous donors, and the Stars Over Wimberley Benefit Concert Series sponsors, ticket holders, volunteers, musicians, and The Wimberley Players.

The Robert Moreman Memorial Scholarship honors Robert Moreman, husband of Wimberley Arts founder, Cathy Moreman.
