The Wimberley Valley Big Band’s performance in April to raise money for pancreatic cancer research exceeded their goal of $5,000 thanks to the generous support of the community and the full support of band members.
Held on the grounds of the Wimberley Valley Winery, the event was held in memory of the late John Logan, a WVBB member who succumbed to the disease in 2008.
The performance featured an appearance by jazz vocalist and musician, Aubrey Logan. Aubrey, who lives in Austin and tours widely, is the daughter of John Logan.
