On Saturday, May 4 the City of Wimberley will hold its election for city council to elect a new mayor and to fill two council positions, Place Two and Place Four.
Jim Chiles, current Council member in Place Four is running for the office of Mayor, soon to be vacated by the outgoing Gina Fulkerson. Two candidates are in the running for Place 4: Robert “Bob” Clark and James Jones. Candidate Bo Bowman is running for City Council Place Two, soon to be vacated by the outgoing council member Teresa Shell. City Council Place 1 and mayor pro tem Rebecca Minnick is running unopposed for Hays County Commissioner Place 3.
